As a result of their significant success in delivering premium quality products, they are now offering an outstanding career opportunity for an AutoCAD Draftsperson looking for the next step in their career. Reporting to the Planning and Design Manager your role will also include innovation and research work. Our client is prepared to train on Industry specifics and will welcome applications from recent graduates.
Some of your duties will include;
- Drafting of projects, using AutoCAD
- Checking schedules, planning & creating master plan and spec sheets (training provided)
- Completing drawing with full list of specifications using AutoCAD
- Scheduling of programs for CNC machines and factory scheduling
- Designing special request requirements and creating .dxf templates
- Researching and innovation work for the company
- Assisting Planning and Design Department as required
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Some drafting experience preferred however not essential
- Design Background in the housing industry will be highly regarded
- AutoCAD skills or other drafting software (client will train on AutoCAD)
- Related Diploma/Qualification (no on job experience essential)
- A keen attitude
