Situated in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney our client specialises in the design and manufacture of commercial quality aluminium windows and doors servicing both residential and commercial clients. Due to their use of high quality materials and the most up to date computer design programs and cutting edge manufacturing technology they enjoy an enviable reputation in the market place and continue to experience significant growth rates.
This role represents a wonderful opportunity for a recent HSC or TAFE graduate who is good at maths and computers and enjoys solving technical problems to receive fantastic training and kick start a career with a great future.
In this role you will be thoroughly trained in all aspects of aluminium door and window production planning and purchasing. At the end of your training you will a detailed understanding of
Once trained your role will be to receive the relevant details of a job from the project manager, including timeframes and budgets and then proceed to input all that information into the computer system (V6) which will produce the required specifications (including optimised cutting plans, glass quantities, extrusions etc). You will then be responsible for purchasing all the required materials and liaising with the factory manager who will be responsible for completing the production side of matters.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Completed your HSC
- A genuine interest in and sound knowledge of computers and related technology
- Good with maths and English
- A willingness to learn
- Experience with Auto Cad will be highly regarded
