Our client delivers call tracking solutions that help businesses monitor, optimise and measure both online and offline marketing. The company has more than 2,700 customers in Australia that range from small and medium-sized businesses to government organisations and multinational corporations. Having embarked on a major growth phase, this newly created role is critical to continue the momentum and to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies throughout all channels.
This is a broad and exciting product management role, responsible for developing and managing the product and application portfolio. This includes: managing the product lifecycle, including design and launch, it’s profitability; defining new product and application initiatives; measuring and managing product performance; analysing customer, competitor and market insights; formulating pricing initiatives; packaging customer-specific solutions; and focussing the sales team on retention, growth and up-sell through campaigns and training.
The key focus of this role is to grow revenue, market share and margin, by:
- Developing and implementing the marketing plan.
- Engaging in product development and preparing the product development roadmap.
- Project managing product development delivery.
- Planning, and executing marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Preparing online and offline collateral and documentation.
- Ensuring the sales, service teams and partners are trained on the products, applications and offerings.
- Managing commercial matters in relation to products.
- Ensuring product profitability.
Experience and Skills
- You will be a confident self-starter, passionate about developing new products and applications, with an ability to work autonomously, as well as manage a virtual team.
- Have several years post graduate B2B experience in telecommunications, IT or a marketing agency.
- Be analytically minded and results oriented. Financial and modelling experience would be an advantage.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline.
- A good understanding of product development and go-to-market process.
- A passionate product marketer, with experience in pricing and margin management.
- An understanding of the online, digital and SEO space would be an advantage.
