Your primary role will be to provide Level 1 telephone support to ensure smooth operation of IT services to external customers. This role is phone based and it is expected you will be able to build good relationships and provide clear, easy to understand solutions to customer IT issues. There is genuine opportunity for career growth for the right person.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Level 1 inbound phone and email support (e.g. resetting passwords, printer maintenance)
- Understanding customer IT issues, resolving them independently or allocating service calls to the next level where appropriate
- Keeping in touch with clients to update them as to progress
- Following up engineers to ensure jobs are finalised
- Liaising with third-party providers
- Occasional research to assist with resolving IT issues
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be reliable

- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Have an ability to work under minimal supervision
Other skills that would be well regarded:
- Experience in a call centre environment
- Previous experience working in an IT support role
