Recruitment for:

Account / Sales Manager – Beauty & Cosmetics

  • Casual position with real opportunity to grow in the role
  • Between 15 to 25 hours per week – hours will vary week from week
  • Most work to be done in Perth, however, occasional short term trips outside of Perth will be required

Our client is Australia’s market leader within a period of less than 4 years. They provide a complete range of professional spray tan solutions, retail products as well as a DIY range.  Their products can be found in over 3,000 leading salons, day spas and hairdressers in Australia, New Zealand, Bali and Fiji and soon to expand to Europe and the USA.

This role represents a rare opportunity to work for a market leader who is poised to expand even further overseas as well as bring out a new range of products.  You will be supported by a robust marketing department with a generous budget.  Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager you will be focusing on building relationships and selling to the retail and wholesale end of the market including salons, hairdressers, beauty schools, spray tanning businesses etc.

This role represents a wonderful opportunity for an energetic sales / accounts person with beauty / cosmetics experience. You will be working in a small office environment but in a company with an international reach.  Most of you prospects will be contacting you as a result of the great marketing campaign and word of mouth referrals.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Achieving sales in a fast paced industry
  • Managing existing client accounts
  • Taking phone and email enquiries from clients and assisting them with all their needs. 
  • Providing advice over the phone, visits with managers and email accounts about a wide range of issues such as how to use equipment and marketing material
  • Create a daily and weekly plan detailing the days’ achievements and follow up day plan.
  • Process orders, invoices and payments
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Plus a variety of other duties as required including training sessions and demonstrations of products.
  • Possible travel to accounts outside of metropolitan area including occasional overnight stays

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have a minimum 3 experience in a field sales/account management role.
  • Have a background dealing with beauty/hair wholesalers and salon business managers.
  • Customer service experience where in you were solving client problems/issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be flexible in all aspects of managing accounts
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • Stable job history with good references
  • Enjoy helping people over the phone
  • A drivers license and car is essential
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and experience with Netsuite will be highly regarded.
