Our client is a leading supplier of a broad range of fixtures and shop fitting products. They sell everything from point of sale equipment, retail display products and storage items. They pride themselves on making it easy for busy business owners who don’t have the time to chase around after specific products. They enjoy an enviable reputation in the industry and have been experiencing consistently strong growth.
This role represents a genuine opportunity for an enthusiastic sales person to join a small, friendly and supportive organisation with a bright future. Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will spend approximately 50% of their time taking inbound enquiries and converting those enquiries into sales. The rest of your time will be spent identifying new business opportunities, making client visits and growing the customer base. All your sales efforts will be supported by a significant marketing budget!
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to incoming phone and email enquiries and converting those enquiries into sales
- Driving sales from new and existing accounts
- Sourcing new business by securing appointments with key decision makers and doing client presentations
- Completion of weekly sales reports
- Visiting existing customers to introduce them to the latest trends, continually striving to provide best possible solutions
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3-4 years’ experience working as a Sales Professional and a proven track record in meeting your sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a small team
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to read & interpret simple drawings and plans
- Drivers licence is essential
Whilst not essential a background in the any of the following will be highly regarded: storage solutions, retail shelving, store design, retail display, shop fitting and automotive spare parts.
