Our client is a well established IT solutions provider that offers procurement and manage print services to companies with 100 to 1000 seats.  They have differentiated offerings in their key sectors and a market leading online presence. A small company, based in Sydney's North West, they offer prospective employees a great environment to achieve and realise the value and impact of their effort.

The owner is keen to take the business to the next level and is therefore enthusiastic about bringing in a talented and energetic  BDM who is keen to work and share in the profits.  Selling well known I.T. products to mostly mid tier companies this is a role where you can genuinely make your mark.  There is lots of administration support available and plenty of incentives in the form generous bonuses.  

This role is for an established Business Development Manager with, preferably, existing loyal customers.  You will be comfortable prospecting for new clients and closing deals.  You will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts.

Your duties will include:

  • Selling hardware and software products from leading vendors (IBM, Lenovo, HP, Lexmark etc)
  • Prospecting and selling to IT Managers and Procurement Managers
  • Establish new contacts to build your client portfolio
  • Grow and develop existing client relationships
  • Write business proposals to submit to clients
  • Work as part of the sales team 
  • Achieve agreed revenue targets

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A minimum of 4 years experience as a successful BDM – preference will be given to candidates with recent sales experience in the I.T. space
  •  A sound technical knowledge of IT systems and software
  • An existing relationship with clients
  • A demonstrated record of prospecting and selling to new clients
  • An understanding and a willingness to work in a small business environment
  • Enthusiasm and energy
  • Stable work history with good references
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • A focus on results and outcomes

 

A current drivers licence and access to a car is essential for this role.
