Our client provides safe, secure and simple electronic transmission of prescriptions that links doctors and pharmacists. Using tried and tested technology they deliver the best available security which provides pharmacists the means to speed up the dispensing process and improve accuracy. Script information is downloaded from the software so there is no chance of data entry errors. These increased security measures means there is less chance of script forgery and doctor shopping; giving the pharmacist better peace of mind in dispensing.

Essentially your role will be to support and execute the installation of software over the phone and internet. You will be ascertaining the precise I.T. set up of pharmacists and GP clinics and conveying that information to a third party who will be responsible for the software installation. On occasion you will also be doing the installation over the phone or internet yourself.
 
Your primary duties will include:
  • Develop and apply a technical knowledge of the e-prescription system and how it interacts with multiple dispense and clinical systems.
  • Installing the software onto multiple Pharmacy systems at individual pharmacy level.
  • Actively support the installation of the software onto multiple (Clinical) GP systems and perform Pre-Install calls to collect the technical information required to ensure a trouble free install.
  • Perform Installations onto Medical systems as required.
  • Technical trouble shooting. 

To be considered for this role you will have:
  • Very good spoken communication skills
  • I.T. Tertiary qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience working in an I.T. helpdesk support function working with a broad range of clients
  • An understanding of basic programming and software applications
  • Enjoy dealing with clients over the phone
