Administration Assistant (VET Sector)

As the administration assistant your primary duty will include managing student records and administration. It is critical that you have experience working in student administration in a RTO.
Your duties will include:
Answering telephone enquiries from key stakeholders
Efficient referral of information to the relevant parties as a result of these enquiries
Efficient data entry of student information into a training database
Development and maintenance of student records in accordance with the VET sector requirements
The development and supply of relevant documents to assist the Field Educators and NSW senior educator
Ordering of training resource stock in and efficient and timely manner
Daily postage of relevant documents in an efficient and timely manner
Development of agenda’s and minuting of Senior Management meetings
Ordering of stationary if and as required
Ensuring all Field educators invoices for services rendered and payments are executed and recorded efficiently
Administrative support to managers
To be considered for this role you will have:
Essential
Excellent computer and data entry skills
Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Experience in using the VETTRAK training database or similar database
A knowledge of the Vocational Education and training sector
Excellent phone manner
Ability to work autonomously
Reliable and efficient timekeeping
Ability to converse with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
Neat and professional appearance at all times
Willingness to learn and develop within the position
Whilst not essential the following will be viewed favourably:
Knowledge of the Aged and Community Care sector
Knowledge of training packages.
Cognisance of interstate training authorities and associated guidelines for funding
Knowledge of funding based traineeships/training
Knowledge of nursing agency business
