Bookkeeper / Office Administrator

Our client has a great team of staff that is passionate about technology and how it meets business needs. They have a proven track record of implementing technology solutions ranging from Architecture and Design Consulting to Database Development and Business Intelligence Solutions. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to come in, role their sleeves up and from day one contribute to a small but highly dynamic and enthusiastic office. 

This role is not for you if you’re the sort of person who waits to be told what to do and how to do it. You will be expected to be proactive, autonomous, reliable and a great team player with lots of positive energy.

Your primary duties will include:

  ·      Using MYOB for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Reconciliations

·      Banking & petty cash

·      General office administration

·         Answering general customer enquiries

·         Event Management

·         Travel Bookings

·         Occasional Personal Assistant type work

Candidates with experience in Payroll & processing BAS/GST returns will be highly regarded.

Selection criteria for this role are as follows:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper in a small business context
  • Proficient in MYOB
  • Office Administration skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Must be reliable, proactive, autonomous and a team player
  • Must have drivers licence
  • Fantastic communication and people skills
  • Stable work history
