Recognised as one of the leaders in their field our client is one of the foremost providers of a broad range of media and advertising services.  Innovative in their approach they have an enviable and expanding list of clients to whom they are dedicated to providing the highest levels of client service and professional advice.

They are poised to expand their advertising revenues and are looking for two dynamic sales reps who can help them grow. You will be selling an advertising service that is well established, well known and very popular.  There is a genuine opportunity to earn a fantastic package.

Currently the top sales person is consistently earning well in excess of $120K in salary plus commission. The service you will be selling is very sellable. It is both familiar to clients and supported by very strong evidence that it leads to increased sales for their businesses.

To earn a fantastic package you will be an experienced closer of deals. You will have demonstrated track record in growing your territory by hard work and the ability to sell great value propositions.   

Working in a small team you will be visiting clients (mainly small and medium size businesses) and selling them advertising space in mass entertainment venues.  You will also be account managing existing clients and asking them to re-subscribe.

Your primary duties will include spending one day per week in the office mapping out weekly sales territories. The rest will be out on the road with a “sales buddy” visiting clients, making appointments and selling.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A minimum of two years face to face sales experience (a retail sales background is acceptable)
  • A car and current license
  • A demonstrated track record of growing your territory by visiting new prospects and converting them to clients – no order takers please
  • Stable work history with great references
  • An ability to travel out of Sydney (fly and drive) several times a year up to 5 days away
  • A desire to succeed
    A trustworthy and reliable disposition

 

Whilst not essential, an understanding of advertising and on the road sales rep experience will be highly regarded.
