Our client has been servicing the food industry with quality products at value for money for over 35 years. Predominantly servicing fast food outlets, cafes and restaurants they also supply to caterers, schools and directly to the public. They dispatch nearly 10 refrigerated and Safe Food licensed trucks a day.
The role represents a wonderful opportunity for an accounts/administration person to join a well established food distribution business that enjoys a friendly and supportive environment. You will be working in a busy environment enjoying lots of variety on a daily basis.
The role will suit an all rounder with an accounts and administration background who enjoys being part of a team and taking responsibility for their role in the business.
Your primary duties will include:
- Accounts Receivable – approximately 60% of your time
- Collecting payments
- Answering phones and attending to enquiries
- Processing orders including data entry
- General administration including word processing, record keeping, photocopying, cash reconciliation, banking, mail registration and distribution
- Cash handling
To be considered for this role you will have:
- At least 12 months experience working directly in Accounts Receivable including collecting outstanding invoices
- General administration experience in a small office environment
- Good communication skills including verbal and written
- Good computer skills including MS Work, Outlook and Excel
- Stable work history with excellent referees
As there is cash handling in this role a police check will be conducted on the successful candidate.
