Service Desk Operator – Inbound Service

Our growing client is a leading provider in the professional management of computing services and infrastructure. They provide secure and reliable data centres for their clients’ computing infrastructure as well as a range of managed services, including systems management, backup, security, communications, and database administration.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing customer service calls delivered through email or phone
- Ensure all calls are logged in the appropriate Service Desk software system
- Maintain customer records
- Manage all calls to service level agreements
- Assist in the purchasing process as required
- Receipt goods and reconcile to purchase orders
- Report on general call management performance
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
- A minimum one year experience in a service desk environment
- Experience in an outsourcing environment managing multiple customers
- Experience with service level agreements
- Impeccable communication skills
- High level problem solving skills
- A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain excellent customer service skills
Whilst not essential the following will be highly regarded:
- A business related qualification
- Purchasing experience
- A background in an ITC service environment
