Our client is aspecialist provider of toll-free, fixed line, mobile and broadband solutions to small and medium businesses. They currently employ over 120 staff throughout Australia & New Zealand. They are in a growth phase, with several internal opportunities available for good performers to develop and progress their career.
They wish to appoint a Sales Consultant on a full-time basis to work as part of a team who are responsible for the sales of Toll free services. Extensive sales & product training will be provided, with a mentor and sales coach available. A key success factor in this role will be the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers and translate client needs into a complete solution.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Following up on warm leads and securing appointments for business representatives
- Identifying the appropriate decision maker to introduce products & services
- Targeting new business opportunities through the existing network of clients
- Generating new leads by calling and emailing prospects
- Qualification of all inbound sales leads (understanding customer problem/need, listening to issues and passing on details for follow up)
- The enthusiasm & professionalism to ‘close the deal’
To be successful for this role you must:
- Have excellent verbal communications skills
- Very good listening skills
- Have the ability to effectively overcome rejection, whilst upholding a high level of professionalism, respect and courtesy to others
- Cold calling/outbound experience will be highly regarded
- Have an excellent work ethic
- Have the ability to work within a small team
Whilst not essential, B2B phone/sales experience and an understanding of the Telecommunications industry would be highly regarded.
