You will be managing an exclusive village comprising only of independent residents. Your role will be to correctly oversee village finances and budgets, manage key committees, oversee asset management and manage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing village financial performance and budgets competently
- Managing staff
- Managing multiple committees including residents’ committees
- Managing all village assets
- Managing the village to professional standards
- Implement continuous improvement practices
- Facilitating the ongoing provision of quality services
- Providing an environment that enhances the lifestyle of all residents
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A background in any of the following: managing serviced apartments; retirement village management, concierge, facilities management including, managing hotels/motels or similar at a management level
- An ability to manage budgets competently including an understanding of basic accounting and budgeting principles
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people skills
- A proven ability to manage multiple committees in a supportive manner
- Very good staff management skills
- Good writing skills as you will be producing newsletters
- An ability to understand, interpret and successfully work under Dep’t of Health guidelines including OH&S guidelines
Selection Criteria:
