Medical Receptionists
No medical experience required – training will be provided!

Our client is a well established and well respected medical practice that deals mainly with children. There are four doctors, two nurses and thee part time receptionists. The practice has two locations both in the inner west. One is in Burwood and the other in Westmead. The successful candidates will be expected to work out of both locations, however, you can work mostly out of the location that suits you best.
On offer is a practice with cutting edge systems designed to minimise administration headaches. The systems you will be working with have all been designed to make your life efficient, highly productive and relatively stress free.
Your primary duties will include:
- Managing incoming calls
- Typing and editing transcribed letters from a voice recognition system
- Billing patients
- Confirming appointments
- Coordinating rosters
- Generating monthly invoices for sub-tenants
- Stocktaking and general office administration duties
- Processing private and bulk billings
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Good office administration experience. Experience as a medical receptionist will be viewed favourably but is not essential
- Good computer skills
- Must be able to touch type
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to write grammatically correct English with no spelling errors
- Excellent people skills including enjoying being near children. This is not a job for someone who does not enjoy interacting with clients
- Must be well groomed and present professionally
- Stable work history
- Excellent referees
