Situated in the West Perth our client manages several businesses within a "group" and has the sole responsibility of financial reporting, BAS, managing income tax affairs along with ASIC requirements for all the companies of this group.
As the book keeper you will be required to work autonomously and take responsibility of the book keeping function within this multiple company structure. There will also be some general administration duties. This position is business critical and hence requires your confident experience, reliability and an autonomous approach.
As the book keeper your duties will include the following:
- Quarterly BAS/GST
- On-line banking duties (BankLink)
- Managing cash flow
- Assisting with preparing monthly financial statements
- Reconciliation of balance sheets
- Creditors (payment & data input)
- General Office Administration
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a book keeper (performing all of the above duties)
- Be MYOB proficient
- Relevant qualifications
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
