Duties

  • A to Z labouring – multiple residential construction sites
  • Assisting where required on-site
  • Moving materials and equipment as required
  • Installing ground up scaffolding if required
  • Site clean ups
  • Enjoy your day and go home satisfied with a job well done

  
Skills and Experience
   

  • Current Australian driver’s licence – must have
  • HR license – desirable
  • Scaffolding ticket, Forklift license, Traffic Control ticket – advantageous
  • Hold a Construction Induction Card – Red / White Card – must have
  • Familiarity with O H & S obligations
  • Physical ability to carry out tasks
  • Australian Citizen or PR with full working rights
  • Fully Covid vaccination is mandatory in this industry

You will be considered if you are an experienced labourer with a residential construction background.  You will have the skills and knowledge of the processes involved to construct residential projects, such as new builds, renovations and extensions.  You will be reliable, with a “can do attitude” and a team player.

About the Role
Property damage caused by flood, fire, or other unforeseen calamities is repaired by restoration technicians. You will be required to travel to different locations within Sydney Metro on a regular basis. You will report directly to the Operations Manager, and be capable of managing your own site.

Duties:

  • Make safe and building secure
  • Emergency flood restoration services such as water extraction, contents & structural drying, demolition, and stripping out, sewerage cleaning.
  • Fire / Smoke damage restoration
  • Assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved, cleaning
    damaged properties, removing and replacing damaged materials,
    and sanitizing the restored areas.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years in construction and restoration but candidates with less than 3 years of experience are very welcome to apply.
  • Have a standard Driver’s License
  • With good knowledge of fire damage, sewage, and the like
