About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced F&B Supervisor, with fine dining experience to join their growing team. Your previous hands-on experience in leadership of staff will ensure a well-run, smooth operation of the establishment, providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be reliable, loyal and possess a strong work ethic.

Duties:

  • Build and sustain professional and collaborative relationships with staff, management and customers, to ensure the overall business operates efficiently.
  • Staff development, sales and marketing and other administrative functions to assist the achievement business goals.
  • Timely preparation of staff rosters to ensure the restaurant has sufficient level of staffing.
  • Ensure wages are controlled within budget and the staff rosters and breaks comply with the Federal Hospitality Award.
  • Participate at various weekly and monthly management meetings; along with training relating to performance, planning, strategy and information.


Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role leading staff within the hospitality/restaurant industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of food and wine pairing, along with comprehensive knowledge of local, International and organic wines.
  • Genuine passion for people and exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, nights and public holidays.
  • Hold a current RSA and relevant hospitality certifications
  • Be able to motivate, coach & mentor the team.
  • Be an excellent communicator capable of engaging, and building effective relationships, with a diverse range of people.
  • Have problem solving, organisation and time management skills.
