About the Role:
Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity exists for a System and Network Administrator. Reporting to the General Manager – Finance this role will see you oversee, configuration and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure of both hardware and software, as well as the overall performance of IT systems and provide recommendations on improving the infrastructure. This role will also be responsible for the management of all IT related consumables including asset management and participate and lead IT projects to suit the business objectives.

  • Manage the company network and devices (Routing, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, TCP/IP services)
  • Oversee and maintain the server and all system upgrades and backups (Windows)
  • Oversee the overall performance of IT systems and provide recommendations on improving the infrastructure
  • Management of OpenDNS
  • Management of the company’s telephony system (3CX)
  • Maintenance of company group policies
  • Administration and management of SQL server
  • Maintain and update accordingly of documentation relating to IT procedures, policies and configurations
  • Maintain all IT related licensing
  • Oversee and maintain AWS
  • Management of all security procedures and protocols in place including but not limited to network, web security, email, 2FA and MFA.
  • Oversee and manage the Microsoft platforms (Office 365, SharePoint, Azure, Teams, OneDrive, Dynamics)
  • Management, set-up, configuration, and maintenance of all staff (new and existing) devices including but not limited to PC, laptop and phones. (Windows & Android only)
  • Management and set-up of staff (new and existing) permissions as directed by internal stakeholders
  • Provide Level 1-2 Technical support to staff as required
  • Promote IT awareness and provide guidance
  • Liaise with all company stakeholders
  • Liaise with external third-party suppliers relating to IT

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years knowledge and experience working as a Systems or Network Administrator within a small to medium organisation
  • ICT degree qualification or other related discipline
  • Experience and knowledge across Microsoft Certified Solutions, Azure or Office 365, Cyber security and AWS certifications will be highly regarded
  • Working with Microsoft Server environments
  • Microsoft Online services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Dynamics etc)
  • Exposure to cloud computing technology including virtual environments
  • Exposure and experience with Azure and AWS
  • SQL and PowerShell (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong work ethic, highly organised
