About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Category Product Specialist in Audio Visual products to join their team. The role is responsible for managing product alignment and internal processes associated with the Audio-Visual category. This includes product positioning, pricing, quotations, training, stock management, reporting, analysis, digital content management and internal process improvement for local and overseas suppliers.

• Manage and ensure national Sales team are aware of bids, promotions and deals
• Assist and/or manage portfolio pricing strategy internally and on the web
• Manage and ensure contract pricing and dealer IDs are updated and maintained
• Ensure website has appropriate data and related products
• Ensure efficient and accurate stock ordering, management and planning
• Manage and ensure all supplier reporting, periodic reporting and ad hoc reporting (as required) are accurate and on time
• Conduct product demonstration support for internal Sales team and external customers, as required
• Structure and complete internal product and sales-based training to national Sales team

Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar product management role specialising in Audio Visual products
• Tertiary qualification in IT is desirable
• Competent level of understanding and knowledge of AV products and channel industry
• Ability to communicate value in AV products to meet periodic obligations
• Ability to demonstrate all products in AV category
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for insight, reporting and continuous improvement
• Strong experience working with MS Office (Advanced MS Excel experience is a must)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines
• Can work independently and in a team environment
• Current driver’s licence & reliable transport

  • Create and publish marketing material including brochures, instruction manuals, technical data sheets, PowerPoint Presentations, templates etc
  • Support the team on email marketing campaigns, create templates and graphics for email campaigns that support to drive email retention
  • Create immersive infographics and gifographics to help educate our customers
  • Develop and post content on social media and monitor online activity
  • Manage, maintain and update the company websites
  • Create and update technical data sheets
  • Copywriting and accurate proof reading
  • Monitor market trends and update the team accordingly
  • Work with strategic partners to increase brand awareness

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a previous graphic design role
  • Qualifications in Graphic Design or related degree, desirable
  • Proficiency in all Creative Suite applications; Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Proficiency in image and video editing Adobe Suite applications; Photoshop, InDesign and PremierPro
  • Experience in the design thinking process, strong skills in presenting your designs and ideas, whilst gathering, processing and actioning feedback
  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity, alongside problem solving and collaboration
  • Passion for design, exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive, striving for excellence in work projects and the overall strategic objectives
  • Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude at all times
  • Own transport would be preferable as this would be difficult to get to via Public Transport
