My Client is the only full-service sustainable packaging solutions company in Australia that saves customers time and money. Offering a range of packaging solutions that include: adhesives, packaging tape, mailing bags and strapping tools. Based in the North West region of Melbourne, this company is a family-owned business at the forefront of the Australian packaging supply industry. Their main focus is on customer service and delivery, providing tailor-made innovations and solutions to each individual customer, according to their needs. The company continually works towards increasing its sustainability, with the reduction of the use of plastic in the community a crucial and ongoing goal.   

About the Role
 
Due to continued growth and internal promotion they require an experienced Account Manager to join the sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager you will be required to manage a portfolio of 80 clients across the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. Ensuring the clients are satisfied with the service and products being provided to them, looking for opportunities to upsell and maintaining the portfolio. This role is purely account management.

  Duties:

  • Managing and bring across all sales revenue/gross profit within the region
  • Developing new sales opportunities within the portfolio through a territory plan
  • Working with the territory team (BDM & internal sales) to make sure they have the requirements to perform their role within the territory. This will require regional meetings
  • Demonstrations for clients with new machinery sales
  • Monthly One on Ones with State Sales Manager

  
Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years + sales exp within a similar industry
  • People management and relationship building skills
  • Problem solving and thinking on your feet
  • Selling solutions to the client that adds value to their business
  • Sound product knowledge of packaging industry (desirable)
  • Valid Drivers Licence
