Our client is an industry leading, award winning boutique landscape architect design firm located in the heart of Melbourne’s central inner suburbs.  Having been in operation for 7 years and counting, this boutique firm focuses its passion and excellence on tailoring projects to the individual.  Their unique projects focus on both landscaping and architecture within high end residential, multi residential and commercial construction. 
About the Role:
The role of the Landscape Architect will be to bring your expertise, flair and passion to projects everyday, working closely with clients, architects and others to ensure the client brief is brought to life.  You will see projects from start to finish ensuring logical outcomes are achieved while keeping beautiful design in mind.

  • Briefings with clients, client communication, follow up and client care
  • Use and implement your own creative design expertise and flair to projects
  • Liaising with architects, clients and other key stakeholders
  • Preparation of presentations and briefs for clients and site visits
  • Working autonomously on all aspects of design for projects, producing and documenting your own work
  • Producing construction detailing and landscape plans

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience within landscape architectural design
  • Degree / qualifications in landscape architecture, architecture or aligned design degree
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, construction detailing and detailed design
  • Excellent working knowledge of plants and their use in landscape design
  • Understanding and knowledge of Australian Building Codes
  • Previous experience within complex design projects of a similar field
  • Previous use of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketch Up
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • A genuine passion and enjoyment for design as a landscape architect
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
