About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/Supervisor who can seamlessly manage a portfolio of clients at a senior level and demonstrate strong leadership to team of junior accountants/interns. Our successful candidate will possess demonstrable experience within a public practice accountancy environment, with particular interest in Taxation. You will have a genuine passion for autonomously leading and coaching a small team of aspiring Accountants!

Duties:
- Provide business compliance advice and tax planning to a portfolio of clients
- Utilise Taxation expertise to advise Partners in adding value to clients
- Workflow management, coaching and mentoring of junior staff
- Reviewing jobs completed by junior staff members
- Involvement in the firm’s Business development initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operations
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in public practice firms
- CA/CPA qualified
- Solid understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
- Previous experience and exposure in complex group tax structures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience with Xero
- Proven ability to develop and build client and staff relationships
- Experience in managing junior staff
