Our client is locally owned and operated Gold Coast business who manufacturer a high quality and unique product that is distributed to the Australian Plunge Pool, Spa and Hydrotherapy market and supplied to many pool builders and landscapers across the country.  
About the Role:
Due to continued growth and success, our client is now seeking an experienced professional Pool or Residential Tiler to join their team.  This is a pivotal role in the business, which will see you being  responsible for ensuring the highest quality workmanship is performed, including initial preparation of surfaces, waterproofing, fit off, through to the final clean and quality check.  We are looking for someone who is an ultimate professional and takes pride in their work.

  • Drilling penetrations and pluming fit pipework
  • Grinding and etching the pool surface and preparation
  • Remove void former for skimmer and cut to tile size
  • Complete cleaning of pools to ensure dust free
  • Apply primer and allow to dry
  • Apply epoxy coating
  • Apply waterproof membrane coating
  • Complete all tiling of pools Ceramic and Glass Mosaics
  • Cutting and installing of stone coping tiles
  • Complete all colour grouting
  • Complete the fit off after tiling process
  • Complete grout check and patching process
  • Final pool clean and QA check ready for customer photographs
  • Complete pool cleaning process for pools held in yard
  • Maintain a clean a tidy work area
  • Comply with all company procedures and policies

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications essential
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
  • High level of problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Sound understanding of OH&S processes
