About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Estimator with operational site management experience to join a rapidly growing painting and decorating business who provide award winning painting services throughout Sydney for residential, strata and commercial properties.
You will be responsible for supporting the operations team and management by providing your estimating and team leading experience to ensure that job timing, quality and professionalism are maintained at all times as well as great working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Located in Sydney, this varied role offers a competitive salary, company vehicle, mobile phone and iPad. Our client recognises that life is busy and spending time with your family and friends is important, so they offer a working week of 6am-4pm Monday to Thursday; and 6am-1pm on Friday!

  • On-site estimating for residential and strata painting services
  • Supervise, lead and organise teams effectively and efficiently
  • Maintaining efficient work practices across multiple projects ensuring a high standard is delivered
  • Work within designated budgets, specifications and KPIs
  • Maintaining efficient and safe work practices are maintained across projects

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience within the painting industry
  • Previous estimating experience
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Current driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous site supervision and team lead experience
  • Ability to maintain a smooth workflow through multiple projects
  • Use of Microsoft packages
  • Previous experience using Work Flow Max and Joist systems highly regarded
