About the Role

This is a newly created position in a niche market.  In a nutshell:- it will be your responsibility to liaise with customers nationwide, service agents, contractors and end users and produce troubleshooting guidelines, spare part installation manuals and customer service related material (both on-line and hard copy).  You will be working in modern offices in the western suburbs and reporting to the Operations Manager.  You will have the support of management and the techs and be provided with the software tools you need to get the job done.  Previous experience in the refrigeration, electrical or scientific sector would be advantageous.  Together with the IT skills to undertake a role such as this.

Duties 

  • Support the Service Team with technical and epidemic failure information and parts recovery
  • Support the Service Team with spare parts selection assistance and technical service and commissioning support via phone, fax or email
  • Liaise with customers, service agents, contractors and end users
  • Create product technical training videos and interactive documentation
  • Build (knowledge based) troubleshooting guides, spare part installation manuals and customer service related materials  

Skills and Experience  

  • Advanced Computer skills 
  • Photo and Video skills
  • Previous experience, or an understanding of refrigeration/electrical components
  • Client management skills, time management and organisational skills
  • Superior problem-solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously
